Colic – Infantile Colic Resolves After Chiropractic Care

Infantile colic is defined as crying and/or fussing for more than three hours a day, on three or more days per week, for three weeks or more in a well nourished and otherwise healthy infant less than three months of age. Approximately 10-30% of infants worldwide are affected by colic. Research has shown that colic ends by three months of age in 86.3% of cases. CLICK HERE FOR FULL ARTICLE

Respiratory Conditions – The effect of combining manual therapy with exercise on the respiratory function of normal individuals: a randomized control trial. CLICK HERE FOR FULL ARTICLE

OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to explore the effect of combining manual therapy with exercise on respiratory function in normal individuals.

CONCLUSIONS: Manual therapy appears to increase the respiratory function of normal individuals. The potential for this intervention administered before exercise to permit additional tolerance within the respiratory system that could allow an extended exercise program than was previously possible is discussed.

Nursing/Latching Difficulties – The World Health Organization recommended that infants be breastfed for the first 6 months of life, with continued breastfeeding along with compatible foods for up to 2 years or more. The American Academy of Pediatrics agreed that increased duration of breastfeeding provides significant health and developmental benefits for the child and the mother. The benefits for children include decreased number of ear infections, gastroenteritis, lower risk of obesity, and lower risk of asthma. (CLICK HERE FOR MORE). Constipation and Bed-wetting – The prevalence of constipation in children ranges from 4-36%. Research has shown the peak incidence of constipation in pediatric patients is during toilet training when the child is 2 or 3 years old. Migraines / Headaches – 28 Million Americans Suffer with Migraines, that’s 1 in 9… That includes some children. YOU DON”T HAVE TO!!!

Research Shows Chiropractic is better than drugs for Headaches:

Several clinical trials indicate that spinal adjustments may help migraine headaches. In one study of people with migraines, 22% of those who received chiropractic adjustments reported more than a 90% reduction of attacks and 49% reported a significant reduction of the intensity of each migraine.

In another study, people with migraine headaches were randomly assigned to receive spinal adjustments, a daily medication (Elavil), or a combination of both. Spinal adjustments were as effective as Elavil in reducing migraines and had fewer side effects. There was no added benefit to combining the two therapies.

In addition, researchers reviewed 9 studies that tested spinal adjustments for tension or migraine headaches and found that it was as effective as medications in preventing these headaches.
