We have been helping the Atlanta Buckhead community for over 22 years and have utilized a number of highly-effective adjusting techniques. Our primary focus is to use the method that works for your body. Some people need a lighter approach, some a more aggressive technique. The only goal is to remove the nerve interference (known as a subluxation) that is preventing your body from healing.
We use many techniques, not only the ones listed below:
Webster Technique Certified – Over twenty years ago, I was very fortunate to have trained with the late Dr. Larry Webster, the inventor of the Webster Technique. I am certified for this procedure and I truly know the importance of this unique specialized training. Our mission at Chiropractic Works Family Health Center is to help everyone, especially kids. So, I ask that you help us help more families and more kids. If there is anything I can do to be of service for you, please don’t hesitate to contact the office at (404)350-8000 or email email@example.com. (CLICK TO READ MORE)
Diversified is not really a technique. It is a combination of many. The doctor will place his hands on your spine and feel the misalignments that are causing nerve pressure. He then will gently press and move the bones to realign the vertebra and remove the interference. This may sound easy, but it takes many years of practice to develop the touch.
Toggle technique is a specific, light force, upper cervical protocol used to correct the misalignment of the top bones in the neck. The amazing power of this type of adjustment is that it can even help with symptoms in other areas of the body, not just in the neck.
Dr. Weil has studied upper cervical procedures under many of the old-time greats. He is a specialist. He will use leg checks, instrumentation and palpation to determine if and when there is a need for this type of correction. With this procedure Dr. Weil will position you on your side with your head supported on a headpiece. He will push on the side of your neck and the headpiece will click and shift downward. The correction is quick and you will barely feel it, but rest assured you did get powerful correction.
Toftness is a rarely used light touch technique that works with the subtle energies flowing through and around the body. This is the technique that Dr. Weil uses when correcting subluxations (nerve interference) in children. Many people who have experienced a lot of stress in their lives, or are thought of by their friends as very “up tight”, appreciate this type of technique. The doctor will have you lie down in a relaxed environment and work quietly without any popping or cracking of the joints.
If you’ve been to a chiropractor before and prefer to be adjusted in a particular way, let Dr. Kenneth Weil know. We want you to relax, enjoy and fully benefit from your chiropractic care.
